The age-old, proven yoga to purify, strengthen and re-form the body
Hatha Yoga is the world’s oldest and most respected science of physical culture. The original in its field, and perfected over centuries, it works without fail. It’s the only system of physical education that simultaneously trains the mind.
Its relaxed, slow-motion movements and brief holds, unlike ordinary “huff and puff” forms of exercise, are able to reach deeply into the stiff joints, vital organs, glands, and tissue.
Yoga for all ages and physical conditions
Extremely enjoyable to practice, neither age nor physical condition is a barrier in this methodical, non-strenuous strengthening and stretching. The more out of condition, weak, stiff, or tense you are, the more you need the movements and postures of Hatha Yoga.

It does not matter how far you can go in these postures. No two bodies are the same. However, you always receive the full benefit according to your particular physical structure.
The wrong approach
Who, in our day, wants to walk if they can ride? Why would you go to the gym to work it off when you can get yourself a machine that does the work for you so that all you have to do is lie back and let the machine rub away that ugly fat? Why watch the breath when you can take a tranquilizer? Why bother with yoga nidra when there are sleeping pills? Why would you stretch every day when you can have a massage once a week to work out the pain in your back? If that’s your approach, you are treating the symptoms, not the causes of a problem. Got a headache? Painkillers are not the solution. Side effects aside, doses typically must be increased over time, and the moment you stop using the machine or taking the drug, back comes the disorder.
What it is we are searching for and how we find it
We all seek health and longevity and try to avoid sickness and old age. However, our efforts are misdirected; we are looking in the wrong direction. There is no magic pill that can roll back the years and restore youthfulness, no miracle machine which will streamline your body without any effort on your part. The elixir of longevity cannot be found outside the body no matter how far you travel and where you search. The elixir is within you, and through yoga it is prepared.
