Although Yoga and Tantra are very widespread today, there are many wrong notions held about them and these have to be refuted. However, there’s only a handful of organizations, both in the East and in the West, that are dedicated to an objective study of the various aspects of the Yoga and Tantra traditions.

Shiva School of Yoga was established to promote historical, philosophical, and literary research on the Yoga and Tantra traditions (in their both Hindu and Buddhist forms), as well as to conduct scientific research on the physiological and psychological effects of Yoga and Tantra practices.

One of the main objectives of the School is to provide the newcomer to Yoga and Tantra studies with an integrated and systematic, comprehensive guidance program and a sound training in all forms and aspects of Yoga and Tantra science, in both theory and practice, and with an insight into the dynamics and interplay of their subtly related and frequently overlapping departments.

Our approach is scientific. Everything we teach about Yoga and Tantra is based on rigorous study and numerous experiments, and not on a belief of any kind.
