...that happiness is a function of accepting things as they are? Every time you feel miserable or unhappy, you are either forcing or resisting, or both. In other words, you are trying to make things be a certain way, that is, other than how they are (forcing), or you are rejecting and trying to get rid of what is (resisting). Most of the time they go together, and they always result in dissatisfaction, frustration and pain.
